The three IANR Research and Extension Centers (RECs) serve as distributed, regional hubs to ensure that programs, initiatives, and accomplishments are relevant to the diverse ecosystems, crop and livestock systems and regional economies. Each REC is led by a director. The director works with departmental leaders, faculty members and key stakeholders to identify and implement integrated projects that impact issues and opportunities significant to Nebraska. The faculty at these centers have joint appointments with the academic departments.
