Connecting for Impact: Relationships That Strengthen Extension
Nebraska Extension’s impact has always been about more than great programs. It’s about the relationships we build, the people we connect, and the partnerships we create to make a difference in communities across Nebraska.
This year’s Road Show challenges us to think intentionally about our role as connectors. Who needs to know us? Who needs to know one another? How can we build relationships that open doors, strengthen our work, and position Extension as a trusted partner in addressing the issues that matter most?
Together, we’ll explore how to:
- Build and strengthen professional networks that extend the reach of our work.
- Move from connections to meaningful partnerships built on trust, shared purpose, and mutual benefit.
- Develop authentic, ongoing relationships with elected officials and help them understand Extension’s value and impact.
- Tell the story of our work by effectively reporting partnerships and communicating meaningful impact.
- Be intentional connectors who bring people, ideas, and resources together to create opportunities for Nebraska communities.
The day will feature leadership messages, interactive activities, practical tools, small-group conversations, opportunities to practice what you learn, and time to recognize and celebrate our award recipients. Come ready to connect, contribute, and think differently about the relationships that make our work possible.
